Masonboro Island Sunrise Tour

“Blimey” this sunrise is absolutely magical, Aussie Mikes favorite tour is of the Intracoastal waterways which provide a rich and diverse eco-system protected just like much of Wilmington by Masonboro Island one of the largest undisturbed barrier islands on the southern NC coast.

We’ll start out our tour watching the sun rise above MasonBoro Island. Then set off to explore itself as well as the some of the many intricate salt marsh estuaries. As we get very close to the open Atlantic Ocean the unique range of species that we might cross is expansive and exciting, book now, don’t miss out!

I would recommend confident kayak paddlers and above for this location as you will cross a busy boat channel and cross lots of boat wake due to the popularity of the Masonboro intracoastal.
