What to Expect
Experience downtown Asheville’s food scene with the #1 local food writer and online food personality, Stu Helm, aka “The Food Fan” as your guide. Stu will take you to his personal favorite restaurants, fill you up with some of what he considers to be the best bites & drinks in town, while also pointing out historic buildings along the way, talking about the history of Asheville, answering questions, and telling stories. Whether he’s writing, podcasting, or leading a food tour, Stu’s knowledge & enthusiasm for our local restaurants is unmatched!
Children are welcome. We love kids! If they will be eating on the tour, it will be necessary to purchase a ticket for them. This tour involves approximately three and a half hours of walking and may not be suitable for all ages. Strollers may be difficult to maneuver on the hills, stairs and cobblestones. We recommend a front/back pack.

There are usually 6-7 stops for tastings on the tour. There is more than enough food to make a meal.
Alcoholic beverages are included in base tour price.
