What to Expect
The Newburgh-Beacon Pilot Ferry program features weekend ferry service on October 3-4 and October 10-11, 2026.
There will be 14 crossings from 10:00am to 6:00pm. Fare is $1. Travel time: 15 minutes. Boat capacity: 39 passengers. The Ferry will leave promptly.
Through this action, Save the Ferry coalition hopes to demonstrate demand and impact of ferry service to our community, and continue our advocacy for permanent service restoration and expansion with Governor Hochul and the MTA.

The last departure from Newburgh to Beacon is 5:30pm. The last departure from Beacon to Newburgh is 6:00pm.
