The Evening Star is a former U.S. Coast Guard buoy tender converted into a 36-passenger tour boat, now available for private charters. Enjoy an intimate, all-to-yourself cruise through the Hudson Highlands, taking in sweeping river views and woven Revolutionary War history. Cruises showcase landmarks like Bear Mountain Bridge, Iona Island and Constitution Island while crew provide a relaxed, scenic experience ideal for gatherings, celebrations, or private sightseeing.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations
If you need to cancel your charter, please notify us as soon as possible.
21+ business days before the event: Owner refunds 75% of the total charter amount (½ of the original deposit returned).
Between 21 and 14 business days before the event: Owner refunds 50% of the total charter amount (deposit forfeited).
Within 14 business days of the event: Non-refundable. Total charter fee is forfeited.
Weather & Safety
Charters operate rain or shine. Light rain, overcast conditions, wind, or temperature changes do not affect scheduled trips.
If weather or river conditions prevent safe cruising, the Captain may adjust the plan for safety.
Only in cases of severe or unsafe conditions will alternate arrangements be discussed.
The Captain has final authority in determining safe operating conditions.
By booking a charter, guests acknowledge and agree to these operating conditions.
