What to Expect
Group tours are for groups of over 10 people, with a maximum number of 40. If your group is over 40 people, please reach out to us at 518-943-7465 ext. 109 or email us at [email protected].
Regular Group Rates: $25 per person; $27 per person (October peak season). Discounts do not apply to the group rates.
College & University Rates: $16 per person. Discounts do not apply to the group rates.
Optional Add-Ons Available:
- Guided art-making ($10 per person)
- Catered lunch from local eatery Talbott & Arding (options available, varies from $25 to $32 per person)
- Cider tasting organized by local cidery Left Bank Ciders ($65 per person)
Includes
- An exclusive guided tour of the historic interiors, artists' home, and studios. Dive into the history of Thomas Cole and the historic household and engage with original paintings by Thomas, Sarah, and Emily Cole.
- A walking tour of our grounds and gardens. Experience the historic landscape, see the plantings that once inspired the botanical artworks of Emily Cole, and learn about our Greening Initiative.
- Special exhibition(s) overview
- Access to the Cole Center & Gift Shop for shopping and snacks
Restrictions
The first floor of the Main House is wheelchair accessible by an elevator lift to bypass the 11 steps leading up to the first-floor porch. The second floor of the Main House is only accessed by two flights of stairs. The Cole Center, Storehouse, and 1846 New Studio are all wheelchair accessible. The parking lot is asphalt and includes a number of accessible spaces. The walking paths are loose gravel.
