Well known for its numerous scuba diving spots, Puerto Galera was designated a Man and Biosphere Reserve of UNESCO in 1973. The resort is beautifully built into the hills of Sabang Beach and just minutes away from the best dive spots in the Philippines. The stunning waterfront dive resort incorporates 40 rooms with exquisite vegetation, all-inclusive amenities, white sand beaches, and friendly staff.

Diving Highlights

From wide angle to macro, Puerto Galera offers numerous sites along its coast, with great diversity. Experience relaxed critter diving (a haven for photographers!) with an abundance of reef fish, to wonderful drift dives, a couple of small wrecks, and a day trip to the incredible Verde Island. Several inner bays offer shallow coral gardens and sandy patches, while the outer bay walls offer incredibly vivid corals, with canyons, swim throughs, rock formations and a couple of small wrecks with heaps of reef fish.

The resort's state of the art dive facilities support all levels of recreational divers, Nitrox as well as re-breather and technical diving. Diving with Atlantis includes:
- 60 Individual purpose-built equipment storage cubby-holes to keep your equipment dry and organized

- Fresh beach towel every day, snacks and drinking water

Details
- Local boat dives are at: 8:30am, 10:30am, 2pm, 4pm and 6pm
- Night dives available every day
- 3-tank day trip to spectacular Verde Island which scientists call "The Center of the of World’s Marine Biodiversity”
A detailed itinerary will be provided a month before the trip date.
- Divers are required to show a logbook and/or certification card before diving.
- The first dive of the vacation is an “orientation dive” to assess diver's ability and orientate them to procedures and the local area

Trip Leader

Raul Romero | Scuba.com
Explore the turquoise waters and pristine corals reefs with your dive trip leader, Raul, who has been a PADI dive instructor for 27 years in New York City. Bringing a wealth of experience, Raul has a degree in Marine Environmental Sciences from SUNY Maritime and works to spread awareness about protecting our oceans when he isn’t certifying new divers. If you need help assembling your gear, questions about the dive sites and wildlife, or if you just need a dive buddy, he’ll be your guy.

Accommodations

Atlantis Resort Puerto Galera offers peaceful and comfortable accommodations with free WiFi access throughout the property. It houses a spa and wellness center, while daily housekeeping service is provided.

Fitted with tiled flooring, air-conditioned rooms include a wardrobe, in-room safe, a fridge, mini-bar and a TV with cable/satellite channels. The attached bathroom comes with shower facility and free toiletries.

Getting There

Your ticket price includes round trip transfers between Puerto Galera and Manila. You will be met by a driver at Manila Airport in an air-conditioned van to Batangas.
You will then take a fast water taxi between Berberabe and Puerto Galera and finally, a vehicle to the resort (if required, depending on the pier you arrive at).

Arrival airport: Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA)
