Tours take place in Jamaica Bay. On the very edge of NYC, Jamaica Bay is an estuary nearly twice the area of Manhattan. Steady ocean breeze and peaceful open surroundings make for fantastic sailing and some spectacular sunsets. The sailboat is the unique Norfolk Oyster ""Christina"".
Our cruising ground is an expansive array of small bays, marked channels, sandy shorelines and mixed parkland. Every sailing tour is a minimum of 2 hours, covering at least 6+ miles roundtrip. Wind and tide will help decide our course for the day.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation or rescheduling must be initiated by the customer in writing or email.
nCancellations made 1 week or more in advance of the customers original reservation are eligible for a full refund.
nCancellations within 1 week of the original reservation will receive a 50% percent refund.
nCancellations within 3 days of the original reservation will receive no refund.
Cancellations of rescheduled reservations (non-original reservations) will not receive a refund and will only receive credit towards future tours or lessons.
nCredit expires at the end of the calendar year in which the original reservation was created.
Rescheduling is permitted without fees when initiated 1 week or more before the reservation.
nRescheduling within 1 week of reservation will incur a $50 rescheduling fee.
Cancellation or rescheduling initiated by Sail Rockaway will allow for a full refund or the option to reschedule without fees.
nAny alterations in the schedule, cancellations or rescheduling is at the sole discretion of Sail Rockaway.
nNotification of cancellation or rescheduling by Sail Rockaway will be given to the customer as far in advance as possible.
