Potato Crusted Salmon
A Little French, A little Fancy
What to Expect
Thin shingles of potato, pressed onto delicate salmon and pan-seared until impossibly crisp — it's a technique that looks like it belongs in a Parisian bistro, and it's easier than you'd think. We'll crust fresh salmon for that shattering golden crackle, finish it with a silky, butter-rich beurre blanc, and round out the plate with haricots verts amandine and a fragrant herbed rice pilaf. This hands-on class runs three hours: an hour of demonstration, an hour of cooking, and time to enjoy your creation here at NFCI or take it home. Gluten-free adjustments available.
Restrictions
This class involves standing for approximately three hours (limited stools available upon request), working near hot ovens and stovetops, and hands-on knife and equipment use. While adjustments are available where noted, our kitchens are shared spaces and not a dedicated allergen-free facility — please contact us in advance with any severe allergy concerns. Guests who are pregnant or have mobility limitations should be aware of the extended standing and heat exposure involved and may want to consult with our staff before registering.
