What to Expect
Hosted on Solaris, a 100% solar-powered boat built at the Hudson River Maritime Museum!
Join us as we are Immersed in the Sound Vibrations of The Gong (Sound Healing) aboard Solaris. Departing from the Hudson River Maritime Museum docks on the Rondout creek, approaching the Hudson, HariPrakaash guides attendees in practicing a short meditation. By the time we reach the Hudson, the healing sounds of the Gong are playing and the sun is setting. Floating along the Hudson at Sunset with the Gong all around, guests experience the water element, nature, and Gong, and pure magic....
No experience is required, and children are welcome.

About HariPrakaash
HariPrakaash has taught Kundalini Yoga, Meditation and Gong Sound Healing since 2006. HariPrakaash brought Kundalini Yoga and the "Gong Movement" to the Hudson Valley of NY in a very grassroots way, by teaching out of her living room. Her Sadhana (personal practice) and classes benefit from her love for music, creative spirit and connection to planet Earth. Her prayer is that the teachings continue to flow through her accurately and authentically. She continues to inspire and uplift the individuals she teaches daily, both privately and publicly.
HariPrakaash holds an International KRI certification in Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. HariPrakaash has attended and is certified in dozens of KRI Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 trainings.
HariPrakaash also is a certified 500hr Hatha Yoga teacher, an Ordained NYC and NYS Registered Wedding Minister/Officiant, a Certified IIN Integrative Health Coach, 2001 Graduate of FIT, and holds a NYS license in Cosmetology. HariPrakaash is a forever student, constantly seeking to uplift and expand.
About Solaris
Built and operated by the Hudson River Maritime Museum right here in Kingston NY. Solaris is the only solar-powered boat in operation on the Hudson River. This quiet vessel does not require any fossil fuels to operate and is 100% solar powered.
Restrictions
Physical Requirements Required to Access Solaris
To access Solaris, you must be able to:
- Navigate a gravel path from the street to the docks
- Navigate elevated gangways to and from the docks / Solaris. Note that the docks may sway or be slightly wet
- Climb 3 steps down to board Solaris

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by Museum:
Please note that our tour boat Solaris DOES operate in the rain; tours are only canceled by the captain when weather conditions are dangerous. In the event that the Solaris Captain or Hudson River Maritime Museum cancels a tour or charter, full refunds will be issued. Same-day cancellations due to thunder and lightning will result in full refunds. If a boat ride or tour is cut short for any reason, full or partial refunds will be issued at the discretion of the captain.
Cancellation by Customer:
Cancellations before 7 days of tour departure will receive a full refund. Cancellations between 6 days and 24 hours of tour departure will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 24 hours of tour departure or no-shows will not receive a refund.
