Edward Hopper House Museum gives depth to an artist whose honest representation of life in America perennially evokes both contemplation and reflection. Edward Hopper House Museum & Study Center celebrates and advances the legacy of Edward Hopper through artifacts, photography and exhibitions inspired by the iconic painter.

Individual Tours

Docents may provide guided tours and you can also go through self guided as we provide interpretive materials that explain the importance of the House as it preserves and explores Edward Hopper’s legacy.

ADA Accessibility

The main floor (Main Gallery, Sanborn Gallery, Elizabeth's Parlor) of the Edward Hopper House is wheelchair accessible, with a ramp beginning at the back of the house leading to the front porch. Call for assistance. ​The second floor of the House is currently NOT ADA accessible.

Navigating Our Historic Building

We are thrilled to have you explore our museum. To ensure you have a safe and enjoyable visit, please take note of the following:

• Our museum is housed in a preserved 19th-century multi-story building.

• The original wooden staircase leading into the second floor can be narrow and steep.

• Please move at a comfortable pace while transitioning between floors.

• For your stability, we ask that all visitors firmly grip the handrails when ascending or descending.
