What to Expect
All aboard for a 45 minute ride through the scenic Catskill Mountains on the Delaware & Ulster Railroad.
Depart from Arkville station and ride west along the D&U line towards Halcottsville, following the East Branch of the Delaware River towards is headwaters. This year marks the return towards the popular route which made the Delaware & Ulster Railroad a staple attraction for decades.
Wildlife thrives alongside the railway—bald eagles soar overhead, deer graze the surrounding fields, and you may even see an occasional black bear peer out from the forests.
Standard tickets allow riders to choose between our Historic Coach Cars or our Open-Air cars. Immerse yourself and your family in the bucolic landscape of forest covered mountains and peaceful river valleys the same way visitors to the Catskills did over 100 years ago. This amazing rail ride is truly an unforgettable experience for all ages.
