What to Expect
CREA’s field trip adventure offers a structured, engaging environment where students can participate in various activities, centered on creative technology, hands-on learning & team-building activities. The field trip begins with CREA’s 60-minute immersive experience, which combines technology with traditional play in a sensory-rich environment. Kids are guided through an interactive adventure following a light sensor pathway to separate zones, including wall-sized motion-controlled games, a glowing cube puzzle challenge, a rotating rock wall, a physioball bouncing pool, and a meditation area. Kids are inspired to work together in mixed-age teams to achieve a group score.
In addition to being physical, fun, engaging, and socially and emotionally engaging, all of CREA’s adventures address real-world environmental threats. We currently offer three adventures: Save the Ocean, Protect the Rainforest, and Mission Hero Space Exploration. And coming later in 2026: Stop the Arctic Melt and Urban Uprising: Species Survival. Field trips can choose to play the adventure that aligns best with their curriculum or students’ interests.
The second hour (if a longer trip) is spent in our STEAM Discovery Design Lab. Students learn about a specific environmental concern and explore that theme using STEAM-based game design skills. We can customize your activity in the design lab to center around what the students are studying in the classroom. Experimenting with sculpture, drawing, 3D modeling, and digital animation programs, students will experience how the CREA team collaborates with students to create new ecosystem-preserving adventures.

Field Trips are offered during school hours, Wednesday - Friday, from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Cost: Special Rates for NYC Students (Tax Exempt)
$18: One Hour Field Trip (60 Minute CREA Adventure only)
$32: Two-Hour Field Trip (60 Minute CREA Adventure & 60 Minute Design Lab)
$45: Three Hour Field Trip ((60 Minute CREA Adventure, 90 Minute Design Lab & 30 Minute Design Challenge in the CREA Adventure Space)
