What to Expect

🚂Rare Rail Ride — A Unique Experience!
All Aboard Steam Engine No. 18 for a mini excursion to the Exchange and back — the real spot where our freight gets picked up. This isn’t our usual passenger line… it’s a behind‑the‑scenes trip you rarely get to enjoy.

Did You Know❓Our MP 0, and only connection to the outside world. Known as Arcade Junction, was once the connection to the mighty Pennsylvania Railroad. The rare part is also the 2 mile section being the last remaining piece of the original Buffalo and Susquehanna Railroad that was pulled up in 1917. Built 1995 to connect wellsville to Buffalo for the Goodyear brothers to bring lumber, coal and ore to Buffalo’s growing steel industry.

💓We are New York State’s last operating steam engine having regular passenger train rides. The short-line railroad runs both freight and passenger trains weekly, offering heated coaches with reversible seats and the sound of the steam whistle echoing off the hills. Come see why the historic Arcade and Attica Railroad is so special at 109 years in the making.
