Great for all ages! Children must be accompanied by an adult.
A private tour of the entire facility that allows viewing of all our species, and provides details on all of their backgrounds and histories. You will have access to viewing the animals on our Standard Tour path, along with the rest of our extensive facility, education building, lawn games, and picnic area. This tour gives you exclusive photo and video access. It will also feature in-depth discussions about the nature of rescue animals, including how stress, anxiety, and neophobia plays a role in how Wild Spirit elects to house them, pair them with companions, and how we work with them on a daily basis. We’ll also have discussions on “captive rehabilitation” and other practices for fearful and anxious animals.
We limit the group size to 5 people or fewer so reserve in advance!

ROUGH TERRAIN! A fair amount of this tour takes place in the furthest habitat area, which has some rough, rocky terrain which is NOT SUITABLE for wheelchairs, strollers, walkers, etc. People with mobility issues or very small children should reconsider before booking this tour. We are working to upgrade the upper compound to make it more accessible, however, at the moment it is difficult to move in some areas!
DRESS APPROPRIATELY Be prepared for changing weather! During non-summer months it's a good idea to have a jacket or something to keep you warm if it cools off. In June, July, and August, depending on weather cycles, we may have monsoons in the afternoon, so be prepared for rain and mud. We recommend hiking boots for all visitors, as the terrain can be muddy, and/or rocky.

Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary is remote, located about 4 miles down a fairly well-maintained gravel road. When the roads are dry, it’s a relatively easy (if not bumpy) ride down Candy Kitchen Road. However, when it’s wet the road can be slippery, and reduced speeds are highly recommended. Additionally, if you plan on utilizing our campground, it is strongly advised that you have a 4-wheel drive vehicle; once you get off the gravel road, the dirt roads in the area can become anything from slick to downright sloppy.
