What to Expect
We know you love rivers, sunsets, campfires and great food…and this trip has them all! Let us take you out and show you how to really do dinner in the outdoors. This relaxing and fun mid-afternoon to early-evening trip is a wonderful way to end a beautiful day in northern New Mexico.
After a smooth and family friendly late afternoon float your group will enjoy our private beach complete with beach games and riverside views of the lower Rio Grande Gorge and the quiet village of Pilar, NM.

Alcohol: We are not licensed to serve alcohol but you are more than welcome to bring your own! We will have a cooler with ice as well as cups/glasses and a wine opener if needed. As a reminder, alcohol is not allowed on the raft but you may enjoy your drinks once we are off the river.
Sunset timing: Around the summer solstice and the height of summer it is possible that your trip will not coincide with the actual sunset as it would put dinner time around 8:30-9:30pm. During those times please consider this more of an evening float.
Includes
Most people prefer paddle boats or an individual inflatable kayak on this Class II section of the Rio Grande, though oar boats are always an option on this stretch.

Following are our standard menu options. Each of these is easily customizable to accommodate mixed dietary needs or just the needs of one or two members of your party. We can easily substitute or mix and match proteins as long as the sides are the same. (example: a sautéed chicken breast for one member of a group who doesn’t eat steak)

Cancellation Policy
Reservation cancellation more than 2 weeks before trip date receives a refund minus 10% of trip cost. Less than two weeks before trip date forfeits deposit. A cancellation within 24hrs or a “no-show” on the day of the trip will result in full-payment and forfeit any refund.
