What to Expect
The Rio Grande Race Course is well suited for families and first-timers and we welcome river rafters of all ages and abilities, with a minimum age of 6 years old. You should be in normal good health and prepared for the moderate exertion of paddling and possible swimming.
Gear up and get ready for New Mexico’s favorite half-day Class III whitewater adventure. This exciting 3-hour tour is our most popular half-day trip, and is perfectly suited to families, groups, first-timers, and those of all ages and abilities!
For those looking to take things a notch up to a slightly more active and adventurous level the Racecourse is a great trip for inflatable kayaking! Paddle the whole time or take turns with other members of your party that are in a raft.

Cancellation Policy
Reservation cancellation more than 2 weeks before trip date receives a refund minus 10% of trip cost. Less than two weeks before trip date forfeits deposit. A cancellation within 24hrs or a “no-show” on the day of the trip will result in full-payment and forfeit any refund.
