What to Expect

All aboard the Trick-or-Treat Special

Celebrate Halloween with a magical evening aboard the Woodstown Central Railroad's Trick-or-Treat Train!

Departing at 6:00 PM, guests will enjoy a 90-minute round-trip excursion to Fenwick Grove, where a glowing Halloween trail awaits. Visit all 10 trick-or-treat locations as you collect punches on your souvenir passport.

Every guest receives a trick-or-treat bag at check-in and is welcome to participate in the trail. Along the way, guests will receive a mix of candy and Halloween-themed non-edible gifts. Complete your passport by visiting every trick-or-treat location and receive a special surprise reward at the end of your adventure.

Costumes are encouraged, making this a fun and festive experience for children, families, couples, and friends of all ages.

All seating classes enjoy the same trick-or-treat experience.

About the Caboose

Seats up to 16 Guests. Private Caboose rentals available.
The Caboose is the most unique car on the train. Originally used as the crew office on the back of long freight trains, our historic 1937 caboose has been completely restored with a lush mahogany and maple interior. Our caboose features an upstairs cupola where passengers can sit and look out above the train. To keep passengers warm, our caboose features an authentic coal-burning stove that turns this into a cozy cabin on wheels.

Restrictions

Due to the historic nature of our railcars, Woodstown Central Railroad’s passenger train does not meet current Americans with Disabilities Act standards with respect to accessibility.

  • No weapons or weapon-like costume props.
  • No costume items that obstruct walkways or create safety hazards.
  • No masks that fully obstruct vision while walking.
  • No smoking or vaping onboard the train or at Fenwick Grove.
  • Guests may not enter restricted railroad areas.
