New for 2026, guests may select their preferred table during the booking process. While every effort will be made to honor selected seating assignments, Woodstown Central Railroad reserves the right to reassign tables in rare circumstances to accommodate operational needs, equipment changes, accessibility considerations, or larger groups traveling together.
Step aboard the historic "Mineral Spring", a restored 1927 Pennsylvania Railroad parlor car that once traveled on legendary trains such as the famed Broadway Limited.
Offering a unique blend of historic charm and comfortable accommodations, the "Mineral Spring" features private tables for up to four guests, classic railroad décor, large windows, and spacious seating arrangements designed to make your Santa Claus Special experience both relaxing and memorable.
While slightly more casual than our premier First-Class Table Car "Woodstown", the "Mineral Spring" provides a deluxe rail travel experience with reserved table seating and dedicated attendant service throughout your journey.
Soft beverages and snacks are available for purchase onboard through a dedicated Table Car Attendant.

Originally built in 1927 for the Pennsylvania Railroad, the "Mineral Spring" combines historic railroad elegance with a relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere. Guests enjoy reserved table seating while traveling through the winter landscapes of Southern New Jersey aboard one of the railroad's most distinctive passenger cars.
As the train journeys through forests, farmland, and historic communities, families can relax together at their private table while enjoying the sights and sounds of the holiday season. The car's spacious layout, large windows, and classic railroad character create the perfect setting for a memorable Christmas outing.
During the excursion, Santa Claus will make his way through the train to personally visit each family. Children will have the opportunity to share their holiday wishes and receive a special gift from Santa, creating memories that will last for years to come.
