Christmas Caboose
Seats up to 16 Guests • $820.00
Enjoy the ultimate holiday train experience in your own private caboose. Perfect for families, friends, company outings, and holiday celebrations, this exclusive railcar is reserved entirely for your group of up to 16 guests.
Originally built in 1937 and once serving as the crew office at the end of freight trains, our historic caboose has been beautifully restored with rich mahogany and maple woodwork throughout. Guests can relax in comfortable seating, warm up beside the authentic coal-burning stove, and climb into the elevated cupola for a unique bird's-eye view of the train and surrounding countryside.
Decorated for the Christmas season, the caboose becomes a cozy holiday retreat on rails as you travel through the winter landscapes of Southern New Jersey. With your entire group together in a private setting, the Christmas Caboose offers one of the most memorable ways to experience the Santa Claus Special.
About the Excursion
Celebrate the yuletide season aboard Woodstown Central Railroad’s annual Santa Claus Special!
As you embark on this holiday excursion, guests will climb aboard our beautifully restored 1930s train cars. Once aboard, guests will be taken back in time to a more traditional Christmas experience with our plush seats and holiday decorations adorned throughout.
During your journey, Santa Claus will personally visit your private caboose for a special meet-and-greet with your group. Children will have the opportunity to share their Christmas wishes and will receive a special gift from Santa to remember the experience.
Before or after your train ride, guests are invited to enjoy South Woodstown Station, featuring festive decorations, cozy fire pits, photo opportunities throughout the property, and a special mailbox where children can send their letters directly to Santa.
Whether you're continuing a family tradition or creating a new holiday memory, the Christmas Caboose provides a one-of-a-kind way to experience the wonder of the season aboard Woodstown Central Railroad.
