In cooperation with the Salem County Historical Society, Woodstown Central Railroad is proud to present our 3rd Annual Salem Ghost Train—a unique evening combining a vintage railroad journey, local history, haunting tales, and an elevated onboard dining experience.
Your 2-hour, 30-minute experience begins at South Woodstown Station aboard our authentically restored 1930s train. Travel through the beautiful forests, farmland, and rural landscapes of Salem County on an 18-mile round-trip excursion over the county's first railroad line, dating back to 1863.
Deluxe Class passengers will enjoy a shared charcuterie board for up to four guests from Platters That Matter, served onboard in a luxurious table car. This BYOB experience allows guests to bring their favorite wine, beer, or beverages to enjoy during the journey.

Upon arrival at Fenwick Grove, just outside Salem City, passengers will disembark for approximately 90 minutes of ghost stories and local legends presented by volunteer storytellers from the Salem County Historical Society. Hear fascinating tales of Salem's haunted past, historic mysteries, and legendary characters beneath the evening sky before returning to South Woodstown Station.
Deluxe Table Car - "Mineral Spring"
Built in 1927, this car is our deluxe seating option. It can seat up to 50 passengers at tables and retains two swivel style lounge chairs similar to the ones used in the car 98 years ago.
