What to Expect

All Aboard the Fall Foliage Rambler

Attention all leaf lookers! There's no better way to view the beautiful autumn colors that south jersey has to offer than riding the Fall Foliage Rambler! This autumn themed excursion is a 32-mile roundtrip that will take passengers over the entirety of the Woodstown Central Railroad. This 2-hour excursion will take you through small towns, lush forests, and open farmland as we ramble our way through Woodstown, Swedesboro, and Salem.

Revel in the company of your closest companions with your favorite BYOB selection, while you indulge with a charcuterie board featuring an array of assorted meats and cheeses from Platters That Matter. Immerse yourself in a sensory delight as you traverse through lush forests, farmlands, creeks, and majestic lakes. Please note food items may contain or come into contact with milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy and/or sesame. Unfortunately, we are unable to make substitutions.

CHOOSE FROM TWO PREMIUM OPTIONS:

First-Class Table Car - "Woodstown"

Our Table Car "Woodstown" is our premium seating option and gives passengers a true first-class experience. This car features rich mahogany woodwork, brass fixtures, ambient lighting, and large booth-style tables that can seat up to four (4) people.

Deluxe Table Car - "Mineral Spring"

Built in 1927, this car is our deluxe seating option. It can seat up to 50 passengers at tables and retains two swivel style lounge chairs similar to the ones used in the car 98 years ago.
This car features a modest size galley and refrigerator/freezer which is perfect for large groups or parties. Private Bookings Available.

  • Due to the historic nature of our railcars, Woodstown Central Railroad’s passenger train does not meet current Americans with Disabilities Act standards with respect to accessibility.
  • Guests under 21 years of age may not consume alcoholic beverages.
  • BYOB alcohol is permitted only in accordance with state and railroad policies.
  • Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited.
