What to Expect

Build on your foundational sailing skills with ASA 103 Coastal Cruising. This three-day course is designed for sailors who are ready to skipper a larger cruising sailboat with confidence in protected coastal waters.

Following an evening classroom session, students spend two full days on the water practicing navigation, docking, anchoring, sail handling, engine operation, weather awareness, and onboard systems. Students rotate through the roles of skipper, helm, navigator, and crew while receiving focused instruction in a small-group setting.

Upon successful completion, students earn their ASA 103 Basic Coastal Cruising Certification.
