What to Expect

Book your lesson online or call ahead. It is strongly recommended to schedule the lesson ahead of time rather than trying to do a "walk-in."

It is a good idea to have water-shoes (aqua-socks). Some students would rather have shoes on to protect their feet in the water, but it's simply personal preference.

Make sure to pack water to drink. Some days it is very hot and instructors advise water to avoid dehydration. (But if you forget water, don't worry - we sell bottled water in the shop for $1.00!)

Understand that anyone can learn! Windsurfing is a sport for all ages, and we carry specialty beginner gear that makes it easier for even young children to learn!
