What to Expect
Join designer and letterpress printer Charles Tabor of Floodwaters Press (https://fldwtrs.com/) for a private hands-on experience in traditional letterpress printing.
Learn the basics of typesetting and operating a letterpress while creating your own set of finely-crafted, hand-printed pieces to take home.
PRICE & LENGTH: Workshops are $100 per participant (maximum of 2) and run for 3-5 hours. Enhance your experience by printing your own artwork: setup available for an additional $50.

Each session includes:
• Private instruction in basic letterpress printing and typesetting
• Use of moveable metal type and decorative letterpress elements
• Operation of antique printing presses
• Access to a large collection of fonts/typefaces
• Printing in one or two ink colors
• Printing on premium cotton paper
• Matching envelopes

Cancellation Policy
Customers will receive a full refund or credit with seven days notice of cancellation. In the event that a customer has signed up for original artwork letterpress class and printing plates have been produced, Village will retain the $50 original artwork fee.
nCustomers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
