River Shuttle

Below are a list of the Shuttle Locations and a quick description.

• Wilsons Mills- Farthest North launch on the Magalloway
• Wentworth Location/Mt Dustin- Trip 3 start location, 12+ miles, North on 16 just before Maine
• Wildlife Refuge Office- Standard down river put-in, 8+ miles, Magalloway River and Lake Umbagog
• Steamer Diamond- Out and back put-in, closest and easiest option, Lake Umbagog access
• Mollidgewock State Park- First take-out downstream on Andro
• 7 Islands/Brown Co. Bridge- furthest South take-out option on Andro
• Umbagog State Boat Launch- Shuttle location for State Park Campground and Paradise Point
• Pontook Dam - Shuttle to Pontoon Dam and reservoir. Approx 16miles from NW base camp

We have changed some of our canoe shuttle procedures. We are asking people to self shuttle or set transportation for themselves whenever possible. We are more than happy to transport boats. If you need a shuttle from us, we ask that people to bring all members of their party and gear to the start of their trip and then return to Northern Waters Base for your scheduled shuttle time. We will then bring the one driver of the vehicle and the necessary boats to the put-in.
