Fall Wildlife Tours
Ages 5+ • 8-10 Hours
What to Expect
Now when fall comes, it's the second best time in the park because of all the fall colors. The wildlife is also flourishing too the wolves are able to move more freely with the pups being able to travel. The bears are really ramping up their food consumption before they go into hibernation for the winter. The elk are entering rut which is incredible, the moose are going into rut as well. The temperatures are perfect the wildlife is viewable all day.
Each wildlife tour will be customized and cultivated prior to pick up based on clients interest. I follow each wolf pack in the park and know there territory. I stay up to date on wildlife sightings in the park because I go into the park so often. That being said Yellowstone sometimes has other plans based on wildlife and road conditions. What that means I might have intel on a specific pack of wolves that we might start the tour with because it might be the only chance we might have to see wolves for the day for example. The park is wide open during the fall so all roads are open. This means the chances of experiencing more wildlife is possible.
