Hungry Horse Reservoir is where you'll find it.

Tucked deep in the Flathead National Forest just outside Glacier National Park, Hungry Horse is 34 miles of glacier-fed water surrounded by dense forest and jagged peaks that rise straight out of the water. On a calm morning the surface is a mirror. The silence is absolute. And when your board lifts... there is nothing else like it on earth.

Riders who have eFoiled all over the world have come here and said the same thing. This is unlike anything they've ever experienced.

The EFOIL Xperience: The Reservoir is a guided tour exclusively for experienced riders who are ready to explore one of the most spectacular and remote riding locations in Northwest Montana. No lessons. No hand-holding. Just you, your board, and some of the most breathtaking water in the American West.

This is what an epic powder day feels like... in the middle of summer. In the middle of the mountains. In the middle of nowhere.

We'll meet at a designated location and brief you on the route and conditions before hitting the water.

Open water, dramatic mountain backdrops, and a chain of islands waiting to be explored. No two sessions look the same out here.

Before or After Your Session... The Dam
While you're out here don't miss the Hungry Horse Dam... one of Montana's most impressive hidden gems. At 564 feet high and 2,115 feet long it stands as the 10th highest dam in the United States and you can walk or drive right across it. The name itself comes from two freight horses named Jerry and Tex who wandered away in the winter of 1900 and were found a month later belly-deep in snow, that's pure Montana. The visitor center offers free guided tours and the views from the dam crest are worth every step.

Fuel Up at The Huckleberry Patch
A session on Hungry Horse deserves a proper Montana finish. Head to The Huckleberry Patch in Hungry Horse for lunch, ice cream, homemade fudge, or anything made with that mystical berry we're known for up here. You've earned it.

The EFOIL Xperience: The Reservoir is designed for experienced eFoil riders only. Maximum 3 riders. All participants must be 14 or older and within the manufacturer's recommended weight limit of 250 lbs. Helmet and impact vest provided. Wetsuits recommended, ask us about local rental options.
