I’m Brian Creek, an award-winning nature photographer and photography coach with over 40 years of experience in film and digital photography. I first visited Yellowstone on a backpacking trip in 1977, and today I live in Montana at Yellowstone’s north gate. This place enchants you.

Yellowstone truly is a wonderland for photographers. A super-volcano and unique landscape that’s unchanged since the end of the last ice age. Yellowstone protects 2.2 million acres of geothermal basins, sagebrush flats, mountains, rivers, lakes, streams, and the most diverse wildlife community remaining in the lower 48. It takes days to drive its 310 miles of roads, and lifetimes to learn its secrets. It’s not easy to get here, and most people never will. If you’re a photographer and you’ve decided to journey to The Park, you’ll find your options are limitless. Don’t waste your days driving endlessly, fighting traffic, losing the light, hoping something will turn up. We offer private single and multi-day Yellowstone photography safaris and workshops for individuals and small groups of all experience levels, year-round. Every experience is built around you and your interests — made from scratch for you and your companions.

Our process is straightforward. Once you’ve booked your date(s), we’ll send you our one-page planning questionnaire. After we digest your answers, we'll schedule a call to discuss your visit in more detail. We’ll discuss your experience level, any health issues you may have, your equipment, photographs you hope to make, and photography education or coaching you’d like to receive. Once we understand what you want to achieve, we'll build a working itinerary based on our discussion, recognizing that opportunities may arise once you arrive that will require adjustments.

On the day(s) of your safari or workshop, we’ll meet you in the morning and return you to the same place in the evening. We’ll do the driving, provide snacks, lunch, and water for our day together. We’ll offer the photography coaching & education we’ve arranged, and we’ll put you in the best spots to make the photographs you came here to get. You are responsible for your National Park entrance fees, transportation to the park, lodging, meals, and all other expenses. We’re also happy to answer questions and offer suggestions to assist you in planning your Yellowstone adventure.
