What to Expect
Float down the beautiful, meandering Meramec River in a canoe or raft and see some great river and wildlife scenery!
Bring the entire family or your group down for a day or weekend trip. All Floats end at Meramec Caverns.
This float takes you upriver to Meramec State Park. During these 6 miles, you will have many opportunities to stop and enjoy the scenery or maybe even settle down on one of the many sand bars and have a picnic. The area is known for great catfish and small mouth bass fishing.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy:
nCustomers will receive a full refund or credit with 7 day notice of cancellation. In the event Caveman Floating Company (CFC) cancels a float trip due to high river levels, severe weather, or other unsafe conditions, reservation payments will not be refunded. Instead, the reservation will be converted to a raincheck valid for one (1) year from the original reservation date. Rainchecks are non-refundable, non-transferable, have no cash value, and may only be used toward a future float reservation. Once a reservation has been converted to a raincheck, it is no longer eligible for a refund.
nCFC will make every effort to provide as much advance notice as possible if a float trip must be canceled. Guests will be notified by email and/or phone using the contact information provided with their reservation.
nFloat trips will continue to operate during periods of light rain. If weather conditions become unsafe, CFC may delay departures until conditions improve or, if necessary, cancel trips for the safety of our guests and staff.
