Memorial Paperweight Class

Create a Memorial Paperweight to Remember Your Loved One

Honor and cherish the memory of a loved one with a memorial glass paperweight. Our experienced artists at Lake Superior Art Glass will guide you through the process of creating a beautiful, hand-blown glass paperweight infused with the ashes of your loved one. This unique and heartfelt experience allows you to create a tangible and lasting tribute that will hold a special place in your heart.

Memorial Paperweight Process
During the session, you will have the opportunity to participate in the creation of your memorial paperweight. Our skilled glassblowers will assist you in selecting up to two colors of glass, which can be incorporated into your design. You will then take part in the intricate glassblowing process, as your chosen colors and the ashes are carefully combined into molten glass. With the help of our artists you will shape the piece into a perfectly rounded paperweight, encapsulating the memory of your loved one forever.

Each participant will make one paperweight during the session, which will be professionally annealed and ready for pickup or shipping once cooled. This personalized experience ensures that the finished product is not only a piece of art but a meaningful reminder of your loved one’s life.

Whether you're creating the paperweight for yourself or as a gift, our memorial glass paperweight is a timeless way to celebrate and honor the life of someone special.
