Scrappy Yarn Shawlette
a new life for leftovers!
What to Expect
We all have one: a stash of leftovers! Here is the perfect project to explore the technique developed by Park Williams. With all your favorite scraps in front you, we will pick and choose combinations of color and texture to create a bulky weight yarn, adding and subtracting as you knit. The shawlette pattern is just the right size to try out this stash busting technique.
Accent Jewelry
The earrings and necklace shown here are the work of Alison Thibault at Windhorse Arts on Vinalhaven Island. Returning Light is what she calls the color here which is beautifully picking up the many hues in the shawl. Her pieces bring life and light to all those who wear them.
