Intro to Pattern Sewing: Cozy Pants

Let's make something for ourselves! This workshop is designed for anyone with a desire to make the move into garment sewing. These cozy lounge pants are a great place to start with learning how to make a garment that fits you. Just a few pattern pieces and enough sewing techniques to get you comfortable with clothing patterns.

Additional info

• Level:  Beginners with sewing experience - you know how to thread and operate a sewing machine, have completed some projects
• Techniques: Review of fundamentals pinning, cutting, pattern reading, and seam allowance. Learn how to add in side seam pockets
• What to bring: Fabric, your machine if you would like to
• We provide: Pattern, experienced instructor, tools/machines, and all materials except fabric.

Fabric Requirements

• -3 yards of mid-weight woven fabrics such as quilting cotton or flannel - NO knits
• -wash and dry your fabric as you would your clothes
