About
Betsy’s House is furnished as a museum to look just as it did when the Hart (Ray) family lived here from 1892 to 1906. Visitors entering this house will feel as if they’ve gone back in time and stepped into the pages of the Betsy-Tacy books. See the kitchen where Betsy, Tacy, and Tib made “Everything Pudding”! Look out the same parlor window Betsy looked through as she watched the Kelly family move in across the street! See Mrs. Ray's actual brass bowl and an original Okto Delta pin!
MHL artifacts on display include Thomas Hart’s rocking chair and footstool, a corner cupboard, a drop-leaf table used by Maud and Delos, and many books personally inscribed by Maud, Delos, and members of the Crowd.
