North Fishing Site

Important On this trip there’s a greater risk of dealing with fallen trees, so paddling and portage experience is necessary.

• Check in at Cedar Knoll 15 minutes prior to scheduled start time (If you miss the shuttle there may not be a shuttle available to transport your party and refunds will not be offered, but we will happily work with you to reschedule to another available time slot).

• At your scheduled start time, the shuttle will depart to transport you to Big Bend Picnic Area.
From Big Bend you will paddle back to Cedar Knoll to complete your trip.
Soak up some sun rays floating the day away!

• All our trips are great for first timers. This section of the Huron River is very tame, and our team is trained to help get you comfortable getting onto the water.

• This is a trip through nature and not an amusement park ride. Generally, with the width of the river and gentle current, obstacles are easy to navigate around and can be seen before you get to them.
• Much of this stretch is less than 3 feet deep, however there are some isolated places where it can be 6 feet or deeper.
