What to Expect
If you are looking for a bucket list "Pure Michigan" class trip, Stannard Rock is the experience of a lifetime!
Duration
8+ hours
About
At the Rock, we fish primarily by casting and jigging for fish that can be as much as 20-30 lbs! Built in 1883, the Stannard Rock lighthouse is on a reef 49 miles out from the dock in Shelter Bay. The reef is surrounded by deep waters, creating a natural fish hatchery.
Due to the travel time, we depart very early for this trip. This trip is recommended only experienced anglers in good health. If you have back or knee problems, we do not recommend this trip. We will take children as young as 12, but only with experience on the water.
