Choose a kayak or canoe to enjoy our calm, peaceful river. This 1.5 - 2 hour trip is perfect for families with small children and first time paddlers. Visit us during the weekday for a better chance of viewing fish and wildlife!

Things to Know:

  • This trip is only available for canoes and kayaks
  • This trip is perfect for families with small children and first time paddlers.
  • This trip travels through forested state land with some private cabins mixed in.
  • This trip departs any time of day with the last departure time at 4:00 p.m.
  • Tubes rented from Campbell's are not permitted to this bridge.
  • All rentals must be off the water by 6pm.
  • Each length paddle and float have different end points, if you book more than one activity, PLEASE bring more than one car!
  • Now Allowed: glass, Styrofoam, kegs, Jello-shots or water balloons on the river.
  • Reservations recommend for all trips during peak Saturdays and holidays in July and August.

Cancellation Policy

Cancelation Policy :

Cancelation or rescheduling requests must be made by calling Campbell's Canoe Livery at 989-275-5810.  Participants are responsible for ensuring that Campbell's receives the request.

nParticipants may make any changes to their reservation up to the day before the reservation date.

For a full refund, changes must be made 5 days of reservation.
n
nParticipants canceling on the day of reservation on a weekend during peak season (Memorial Day Weekend - Labor Day Weekend) will not eligible for refund.

No-Show Policy :

n

No-shows are NOT eligible for monetary refund, credit, gift certificate, rescheduling of the reservation, or any other reimbursement. The entire reservation cost will be forfeited.  The No-Show Policy is applicable to all participants, including individual participants within a group reservation.  Reservations are considered a no-show 30 minutes past a reservation slot.  If you and/or your group are 30 minutes late or later for the reservation, the booking is considered a no-show and subject to the No-Show Policy.  We must respect the other reservations for the day.

Rescheduling :

n

Rescheduling requests must be made by calling 989-275-5810 or emailing [email protected] Participants are responsible for ensuring that Campbell's receives the request. CCL allows rescheduling or an option for a gift certificate (valid for a year from issue date) up to 24 hours prior to your reservation.  No monetary refunds will be issued unless requested at least 48 hours prior to your reservation date.

Cancellations on behalf of Campbell's :

In the event Campbell's needs to close, participants will have the option to reschedule the reservation, receive a gift certificate to schedule at a later date, or a full monetary refund.

nWhat if weather conditions or other factors force Campbell's to close?
n- Campbell's is a rain or shine operation. We paddle in the rain and wind, but not during thunderstorms/lightening. However, in the event Campbell's needs to close prior to your departure time, participants will have the ability to reschedule for later or receive a gift certificate to schedule at a later date (valid for a year from issue date).

-Refunds will not be issued to those who choose to paddle during high probability of inclement weather. Once you begin your river trip, you are committed to the rental terms. No refunds will be issued in this scenario.

What if I am late to my reservation?
nIf you know you are going to be late for your reservation, we recommend calling as soon as possible to let us know. We suggest your group plan on arriving 10-15 minutes earlier than your reservation start time. This will ensure you have enough time to unload your gear such as coolers and snacks, purchase concessions and souvenirs, complete any paperwork that is needed, get suited up, and use the restrooms before your start time. Late or no-show policies apply on Saturday's and Holiday Weekends, so be sure to give yourself enough time!
