CALL FOR ART: 2026 Emerging Artists Exhibition

Creative 360 and Parker Lane Art & Design Studios invite Michigan visual artists aged 16+ who are on their creative journey to submit up to three pieces of work for the 6th annual juried Emerging Artists Exhibition. This opportunity is not appropriate for artists who are making a living solely from their artistic work.

The exhibition opens on Friday, October 23rd at 6:30pm with a presentation and Q&A with our jurist and guest presenter Nawal Motawi. This event is free and open to the public.

After learning tile-making at Pewabic Pottery, Nawal Motawi founded Motawi Tileworks in 1992 in her Ann Arbor garage. Today, her company sells handcrafted art tiles across North America and employs over 40 people alongside her supply business, Rovin Ceramics.

• Entries must be the work of a Michigan artist aged 16+
• Art must be original work (no kits, commercial patterns, etc).
• Entry deadline is 10/9 @ 5pm. Artwork must be received at Creative 360, between 9am and 5pm, from Oct. 5 - 9. Contact us for evening & special drop-off arrangements.
• Artists at a distance may submit images digitally. Digital works accepted into the show must be delivered by 7pm on 10/16 at the latest.
• 2D work must be ready to hang(wire preferred), with name and title on back.
• Works must not have been previously exhibited at Creative 360.
• Entry fee is $20 per work, limited to three pieces.
• If you choose to sell your work, Creative 360 will retain 40% of the sale price.
• Employees and board members of Creative 360 & Parker Lane are not eligible to win monetary prizes.
• $250 Best In Show / $100 Best 2D / $100 Best 3D / $100 Best Photography
• Work will be evaluated for admission into the show by our jurist. You will be notified of acceptance into the show by Oct. 15.
• Artwork not accepted into the show must be picked up by opening night on Oct. 23.
• Exhibiting artists are asked to bring a dish to pass on opening night.
• The exhibition ends 11/20 with pick up Nov. 23 and 24 between 9am and 6pm.

Admission to all our gallery exhibits is free and we are grateful for your donations that allow us to continue this policy. Call for weekend and evening hours.
