Alden B. Dow Home & Studio Summer 2026 Adult Design & Exploration Camp

For those looking for more adventure, this camp combines a mix of hands-on projects, that align with Mr. Dow's creativity, and research in the Archives on specific topics, with breaks for reflection. Following the exploration of the Home & Studio and another Mid-Century building, campers will gain a fresh perspective of the building by canoeing on the surrounding pond. Enhancing their already distinctive experience will involve watching Mr. Dow's 16mm films in the private home theater. The participants will be able to discuss ideas with fellow campers over complimentary morning coffee, lunches, and the cheese and wine gathering which will mark the conclusion of this exceptional camping experience.

Home and Studio Policies and Procedures

• Parking: Parking is behind the old Post Street School.
• Photography: We allow exterior photography but NOT interior photography or recording.
• The Home and Studio has many level changes and is not required to follow ADA guidelines. It is not wheelchair accessible.
• We provide a secured closet to lock up purses and handbags, and other personal belongings that we do not allow to travel through the Home and Studio.

Adult Camp Welcome Letter and other Action Items will be emailed after registration has been completed.

Cancellation Policies and Procedures

• Cancellation must be at least 30 days in advance of the first day of camp, to receive a full refund.
• If your cancellation is between 29-15 days in advance of the first day of camp, you will receive a 50% refund.
• If your cancellation is between 14-1 days in advance of the first day of camp, you will not receive a refund.
• If cancellation due to illness a credit will be applied.
• Minimum of 6 campers must be enrolled or camp will not run.
