Witch City Walking Tours

Witch City Walking Tours in Salem Massachusetts was founded in February 2014, when local elementary teacher and certified historian Beth Crowley realized she could share her passion and knowledge for local Salem history with others. Beth has been living in Salem for the last ten years and has extensively studied the witch trial hysteria, the rise and fall of the shipping industry and has a wealth of knowledge pertaining to the city's architecture. She wrote her senior history thesis while at Salem State University on the factors that drove Salem's tourism industry, and why the 1626 city is infamously known as the "witch city".

Witch City Walking Tours is unlike any tours because the guide will give you the REAL truth about what happened in 1692, takes the time to get to know each and every guest and spends time answering each and every question. A tour with Witch City Walking Tours is not to be missed while visiting Salem!
