What to Expect
The Gibson House Museum in Boston's Back Bay neighbourhood served as residence to three generations of Gibson family members and their household staff between 1859 and 1954. This tour invites visitors to explore the house and consider issues of class and culture through the stories and objects of the people who lived and worked here.
Each tour involves walking up and down several flights of stairs. The Gibson House is not air-conditioned.
Regular and specialty tours are also available for private groups by appointment.
