What to Expect

It's all about the fish!

About

For tuna trips, we will procure live bait en route, by jigging up some mackerel. Once on the grounds, the tuna dictate our tactics. We may stop, drift, or anchor while using live offerings, or if it looks like a trolling day, we will put out a spread of squid bars, chains, and cedar plugs to entice Old Charlie!

Your mate will help with gear and technique, as well as good humor and wit! Your catch will be filleted or steaked on our return to Plymouth.

Current 2023 HMS regulations:
3 BFT 27"-47" AND
1 BFT 47"-<73"

Tuna less than 73 inches and of legal size will be filleted or steaked for the customer.
- Tuna >73" will be retained and sold as market fish.
