What to Expect

Join us for a spooktacular paddle along the haunted shores of Salem! Starting from Forest River Park, we’ll glide past the historic Pioneer Village and the famous “Hocus Pocus” house before cruising toward Pickering Wharf and downtown Salem. You’ll paddle right beneath the tall ship Friendship of Salem, in full view of the Halloween crowds along Derby Wharf. Costumes are highly encouraged (but not required), and previous kayaking or paddleboarding experience is recommended. It’s the most fun you can have on the water this Halloween!

Includes

  • Choice of single kayak or paddleboard

  • Paddle and U.S. Coast Guard–approved PFD (life jacket)

  • Guided tour led by one or more experienced instructors

  • Option to bring your own kayak or paddleboard at a discounted rate (guide included)
