Attended by thousands, this beloved two-day festival celebrating the best of Southern Maryland and America’s oyster culture culminates in the US National Oyster Shucking Championship, where top shuckers from across the nation compete for the title of US National Champion and the opportunity to represent our country in the World Oyster Opening Championships in Galway, Ireland

Restrictions

** NO PETS ALLOWED**

In accordance with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) guidelines, trained service animals are allowed at the US Oyster Festival. Service animals must be clearly marked (vest, harness, etc.), stay with their handler, and be well-behaved and under control at all times.

Emotional support animals, comfort animals, therapy animals, and pets are not permitted, even with documentation. Service animals must be clearly identified (e.g., wearing a vest, harness, or other appropriate indicator), and the handler must remain in control of the service animal at all times. Animals that are disruptive, aggressive, or not housebroken may be asked to leave the event grounds.
