Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge Bike Tour

This 2 hour tour will start out with a basic lesson during which you will go over bicycle safety and “rules of the road” such as hand turn signals and maintaining a single file. After we help you get fitted to your bike, our skilled guides will lead you on an unforgettable experience of the area. Blackwater Refuge Tours leave from our Blackwater location and within a short distance you will be on the Refuge Wildlife Drive. This scenic tour will take you through the diverse landscape of Dorchester County including marshes, hardwood and loblolly pine forests, as well as open farmland, all from the comfort of a flat, paved surface! We will search for eagles, osprey, herons and many other species of waterfowl, deer, and songbirds. Each tour is catered to the needs and ability of the group.
