Join us for Storytime on the Farm at Black Barn Alpacas, where you can enjoy a musical storytime featuring storybooks about alpacas and popular children's songs! After the stories, you'll have the opportunity to feed and interact with our alpacas along the fenceline, offering plenty of chances for great photos. Feel free to pack a picnic to enjoy during your visit, making it a perfect outing for families and children!
This event provides a wonderful way to make learning fun. With the combination of storytime, songs, and alpaca interactions, it's an experience that children and adults will never forget!
Note: The event is rain or shine. Storytime generally takes place inside of our large arena, where alpaca pens line the walls.

What to Wear:
Closed-toe shoes are required when visiting our ranch. We encourage boots or tennis shoes, jeans, and a t-shirt or sweatshirt. Keep in mind that alpacas do occasionally spit, so we do not recommend wearing your Sunday best. During the warmer months, you may want to consider applying sunscreen and/or bug spray.
