What to Expect
Gain the skills and confidence to operate a 20- to 28-foot powerboat. No prior experience necessary. AB-101 is a dynamic, two-day course that combines classroom learning with practical, on-the-water training in light to moderate conditions. Taught in small groups of up to four students, this course covers the essentials of boat handling, docking, emergency procedures, and navigation rules to prepare you for safe and enjoyable boating.

Includes
Prior to class the American Boating "Powerboating Made Easy" textbook is provided. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive the AB-101 Beginner Powerboating Certification and an official American Boating logbook, your gateway to confident, safe, and independent boating.
