What to Expect

The Kennebec Lower River Trip is a calmer rafting experience tailored for families, children, and guests who prefer class 1–2 whitewater. Guests put in at the river’s halfway point and float a scenic 6-mile section with an experienced guide in every raft. Families can mix and match trips so some members can do the full river and meet the lower-river group at the halfway point. Funyaks are available by advance request, and the day concludes with a barbecue lunch and a slideshow of the trip.
