Captain Dan is a second-generation Maine commercial lobsterman with more than 50 years of experience running his own traps from his own boats. He leads this hands-on adventure aboard a custom 25’ Carolina Skiff Boat, designed specifically for his unique style of lobstering and powered by a reliable 115 HP Yamaha outboard. The vessel is equipped with a traditional hydraulic trap hauler and features a secure bench seat with shock-reducing rubber supports for added comfort underway. Accommodating up to 4 passengers, this intimate setup provides plenty of room for guests to fully participate in the adventure.

This adventure is also offered by Captain Robin, who is a Master Maine Guide in five disciplines, including salt water fishing, and is one of the few female charter captains operating along the coast of Southern Maine. She leads this adventure aboard a 27’ Grady White Center Console, a highly respected vessel known for its smooth, comfortable ride and exceptional versatility. Powered by twin 150 HP Yamaha outboards, the boat combines speed, comfort, and reliability, making it ideal for exploring Maine’s scenic coastline, islands, wildlife and working waterfronts. Designed with guest comfort in mind, the vessel accommodates up to 6 guests and features a spacious, open layout that allows everyone to enjoy unobstructed views of the surrounding scenery. Its stable ride and flexible design make it an excellent choice for families, couples, and small groups seeking a memorable and authentic and memorable Maine experience on the water.

This adventure is also offered by Captain Shawn, a lifelong outdoorsman, USCG 100-Ton Master Captain, and Registered Maine Guide with a passion for sharing Maine’s waters and wildlife. He operates a spacious 31’ Customized Charter Boat powered by a 450 HP Caterpillar diesel engine. Offering comfortable seating and protected space for up to 6 passengers, this vessel is ideal for longer excursions and larger groups seeking a stable and comfortable experience on the Maine coast.

Boat Departures

Up to 1 departure a day at times stated on the schedule. We also customize dates and times. Please contact us to arrange your special outing.

There are typically 2 options for the pickup location, Saco and Biddeford. The default pickup location is the Saco Pier, if this is the only location it will be noted in the booking process. If you are coming from the Kennebunks or Biddeford, the Biddeford pickup location will save about 20 minutes drive time each way. The additional fee for this pickup is shown in the booking process.

Gratuity

Pricing does not include gratuity. Gratuity is optional and is similar to tipping in other service industries such as in a restaurant or spa. Gratuity can be added to a credit card, VENMO or cash. The crew appreciates any gratuity you elect to provide.
