What to Expect

Explore further into the heart of Acadia National Park with our Rad Power electric bikes that can be ridden straight from our Bar Harbor shop. Brought to you by Maine State Kayak & E-bike, Mount Desert Island's highest rated tour and activity! We love Acadia, and have expanded to the carriage roads! Offering our guest's a more budget friendly, convenient, and easy to operate option to explore the carriage roads is our goal. With up to a 45 mile range on a single charge, and a 750 watt motor, you will explore more, and exert less energy. Rentals are available for pick-up beginning at 9 am, times vary by day, and must be returned by the end of your time slot. There is a $50 fee for any rentals returned past your designated return time.

We are the only outfitter on MDI renting these fat tire E-bikes that we find best suited for Acadia's gravel roads!

Cancellation Policy

Our rental cancellation policy is 48 hours in advance to change/cancel your reservation. Your confirmation email will contain a link to allow you to make these changes. Within 48 hours, no refunds will be issued, unless we are able to re-rent your bike, at which point you will receive an email confirming the refund. You must call and speak with an agent in order for us to attempt to re-rent your bike, no voice-mail or email will suffice.
