Q: When is hog hunting season?

A: Hog hunting is available year-round. Our guided hog hunts are full-day trips, giving us plenty of time to travel into productive hunting areas and locate hogs.

Q: How much is a guided hog hunt?

A: Our full-day guided hog hunts are $425 per hunter, plus fuel. Fuel is typically around $100 per day, depending on how far we travel and hunting conditions.

Q: How many hunters can I bring?

A: We can accommodate a maximum of three hunters per airboat. If you have a larger group, contact us about availability and additional options.

Q: How do you hunt hogs?

A: Our hog hunts are conducted using an airboat, allowing us to access remote marshes and hunting areas that are difficult to reach with conventional boats or vehicles. These are full-day hunting trips designed to give us plenty of time to locate hogs.

Q: Can an inexperienced hunter have a successful hog hunt?

A: Absolutely. You do not need to be an experienced hog hunter. As long as you can safely handle and shoot a firearm, Captain Jason will help you throughout the hunt and put you in the best position possible for an opportunity at a hog.

Q: Do I need to bring my own gun and ammunition?

A: If you have a firearm you're comfortable and experienced shooting, we recommend bringing it along with the appropriate ammunition. Contact us before your trip if you have questions about what firearm or equipment to bring.

Q: Am I guaranteed to harvest a hog?

A: No hunting guide can guarantee a harvest because these are wild, free-ranging animals. However, we work hard to locate hogs and give every hunter the best opportunity possible for a successful hunt.

Q: Will the Captain help with harvested hogs?

A: Yes. If you successfully harvest a hog, Captain Jason will help you with the animal and explain what needs to be done after the hunt.

Q: What should I bring on my hog hunting trip?

A: Bring weather-appropriate hunting clothing, your firearm and ammunition, eye and ear protection, food and drinks for the day, sunscreen, and anything else you may need for a full day outdoors. We also recommend bringing a great attitude and being prepared for an exciting day of airboat hunting.
